Safe Streets March

We will honor our fallen victims of traffic violence as we march down 5th avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn to advocate for safe street passage for all commuters on World Day of Remembrance.

Every two hours a New Yorker is seriously injured or worse in a traffic crash, close to 40,000 people in the U.S., and approximately 1.35 million people lose their life every year because of it.

Serious injuries and fatalities caused by traffic collisions are preventable.

Join us, Commuter U, Sunset Park BID, Community Members and elected officials on November 19th to raise awareness, educate, and work toward guaranteed safe street passage for all. #oneroadmanychoices #responsiblecommuting #WDoR2023
